Requirements
Six Things Before You Fly
You act as pilot in command under Part 91. These are the conditions the insurance policy and the regulations set. Experience minimums are placeholders until the insurer confirms them.
Certificate
Private, Commercial or ATP. Student pilots cannot rent solo.
Medical
A current FAA medical or BasicMed qualification, unexpired on the day of flight.
Flight review
Completed within the preceding 24 calendar months, per 14 CFR 61.56.
Renter's insurance
Your own policy, current, with the certificate on file before dispatch.
Total time
100 hours minimum. Set by the insurer, not by us.
Time in type
10 hours in a PA-28. A checkout flight can close the gap.
